Revival is moving across our nation and across the net, Praise GOD. The Holy Spirit is working in a great way to unite the Body. Here at the underground church we are excited about the work GOD is doing in the lives of believers everywhere. Not since the Friends of Jesus and the Jesus People movements of the 1960's has there been such an outpouring among the young people in our nation. Countless young people of the so called GenX are on fire for the Lord. GOD is moving in a mighty way and we believe that this is a sign of the End Time. We must Reap while the Harvest is before us because the time is coming when we will no longer be able to labor.

Joel 2:28 And it
shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon
all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your
old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the
servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my
spirit.
30 And I will show
wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and
pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be
turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great
and the terrible day of the LORD come.
32 And it shall come to
pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be
delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be
deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the
LORD shall call.
The youth and the young people are our future. They will lead us into the next millennium for good or evil. If the Lord is coming soon, which we firmly believe, then it will be the members of the so called X generation that will both die as martyrs and persecute the Church. They will be the generation of the End Time, the last generation. So it is appropriate that they are called Generation X, 'X' being an ancient symbol of the cross and of crucifixion.
In the 1960's a revival moved through our nation and it moved through the young people. They called themselves the Jesus People, the Friends of Jesus, Jesus Freaks, and many other names. They didn't fit into the major denominations. They were young, on fire for the Lord, in love with Jesus and with their fellow man. Many present day ministries rose out of these 'radical' Christian movements. Most are even considered 'main line' today.
The 1990's is seeing a revival of 'radical' Christianity. Along with tie die and bell bottoms we now add WWJD (what would Jesus do?) braclets, prayers around the flag pole, and CCM (contemporary Christian music) concerts. Our sons and daughters are prophesying if we will only listen. GOD has put in our hearts the knowledge of the end. We felt it in our youth and now our children sense it. To the unsaved this knowledge brings despair and a darkening of the spirit as seen in metal music, gangsta rap, and the violent culture around us, but to those who know Jesus it brings joy and anticipation and a courageous spirit willing to go forth in His Name no matter the cost.
There are two major signs of the
return of Christ that are often overlooked, yet in my opinion the
most important. First is the revival among believers shown by the
great outpouring of the Holy Spirit as seen in Joel. Second is
the falling away by the so called 'church' who denies this
revival as told of in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. Both are present and
growing in the world today. And a third would be Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that
were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and
giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And
knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall
also the coming of the Son of man be.
And Genesis 6:11 tells us "The earth
also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with
violence."
This describes our day like no time
before. We see in our day both children on fire with the Holy
Ghost and children killing children in our schools as our
churches argue over procedural issues and points of order.
The Time is at Hand !
